The Challenge

A brand worthy of the stories she tells.

Jodie was restarting her celebrant business and wanted to reposition herself as a premium independent celebrant specialising in meaningful, personalised ceremonies — weddings, funerals, namings, vow renewals and her signature Legacy Journal Experience.

She needed a completely fresh identity — one that reflected her warmth, compassion and exceptional writing ability. The existing brand no longer represented her vision, so everything needed rebuilding from the ground up.

Brand Discovery

We started with the heart of the brand — personality, values and story. Over six years of writing ceremonies for families on their most important days. Every branding decision that followed traces back to a brand centred on storytelling, compassion and being genuinely present.

Logo Design

A bespoke mark inspired by a birch tree, an infinity loop, a fountain pen nib, nature, storytelling, legacy and words. Every element carries meaning — a symbol Jodie can grow with for decades, quietly signalling warmth, permanence and craft.

Brand Identity

Deep Olive, Warm Cream, Stone and Soft Gold set the tone. Natural textures, editorial serif typography, atmospheric photography and organic styling create a system that feels calm, timeless and unmistakably premium — the opposite of the templated celebrant look.

Website Design

A quiet, editorial user experience anchored by large atmospheric imagery, thoughtful spacing and clear navigation. Home, About, Services, Gallery, Testimonials, Journal, Areas and Contact — each page mobile-first, accessible by default, engineered for speed and structured to guide the visitor gently toward beginning a conversation.

Copywriting

Every page was written to tell a story rather than list services. Wedding, funeral and legacy ceremonies each carry their own voice — leading with emotional connection, trust, authenticity and compassion, so the words on the page feel like Jodie speaking directly to the reader.

SEO Strategy

Keyword research around "celebrant Durham", "celebrant Newcastle" and dozens of surrounding towns. Local SEO, Google Business optimisation, schema and structured data, Core Web Vitals, semantic HTML, internal linking and a journal roadmap — all designed for traditional search and Google's AI overviews, backed by strong EEAT signals.
